Throughout the world, International Women’s Day is marked on March 8. This year in Dallas, TX, the United Nations Association of the United States of America (UNA-USA) Dallas Chapter and Peacemakers Incorporated presented “A Peace Patron Luncheon Celebrating International Women’s Day.”

The focus of the celebrations varies by region to mark the history, traditions, and achievements of women in their struggles for equality, justice, peace, and economic and social development.

    What a great day for women.
